The Fabulous Life of Katy!

can we please talk about how yesterday I was wearing a quarter sleeve sweater with capris and today i am soo bundled up with my huge jacket, earmuffs and mittens.  oh and can i mention that its raining/sleeting/snowing & FREEZING!  whats this about?  please make spring come NOW!  im all done with winter!

Last Night was our last broomball game for the season.  Very disappointing because of course we played our best and came together as a team.  It was incredible!  We let 2 goals in the first half but the 2nd half we came alive.  Our defense was amazing, we stopped all shots on goals and our offense scored 2 goals.  Needless to say we went into overtime.  The first overtime is just an extra 3 minutes, the first to score wins.  Nobody scored.  2nd overtime is a shootoff.  5 players from each team get their chance to shoot against the goalie.  Nobody scored.  3rd overtime is 5 on 5 with no goalie.  We we are each down a player.  We were doing great UNTIL they broke away and scored!  The game was over & we were defeated.  It was the most intense broomball game ever and such an upsetting end.  We were so close to winning our first game!  Oh well, there is always next year!
